Terms of Use

Last updated 2026-10-25

All services provided on this website are owned and operated by SKYSEED TECH LLC.

By using drawtape.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Your files and your output

  • Your drawings stay yours. The tools read them in your browser and do not upload them.
  • Everything the tools produce from your files (PDF, images, SVG, DXF, CSV and measurements) belongs to you or to whoever owns the source drawing. We claim no rights in it, and no credit is needed. You may use it for any purpose, including commercial use: in client work, tenders, estimates, products you sell and print or print-on-demand jobs.
  • Make sure you may open, measure and convert the drawings you use. Some files are confidential or copyrighted, and that is between you and their owner.

Accuracy

  • Lengths, areas and counts come from the geometry in the file or from the points you tap and the scale you set. A wrong scale, wrong units in the file, a drawing that is not at full size, or objects the tools do not draw will give wrong numbers. Check one known dimension before you rely on a result.
  • The tools are measuring aids. They are not a certified survey, a structural calculation or a priced estimate, and they do not replace a qualified professional or the drawing’s own dimensions.
  • Conversion results can differ from what your CAD program shows. Each tool page lists what is not drawn or not converted.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, including a wrong quantity, an order based on one, or a file that does not open. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the consumer rights you have under the law of your own country.

Our material and open-source software

  • The site’s design, text and our own code are © DrawTape. Printed copies of pages for your own use are fine; copying, reselling or mirroring the site or its tools as a competing service, or using automated tools to copy it in bulk or overload it, is not.
  • The DWG and DXF reader (acadrust), the PDF reader (pdf.js) and other libraries keep their own open-source licences, listed with links on the credits page, which is the authoritative list.

Trademarks

AutoCAD, DWG and DXF are trademarks or registered trademarks of Autodesk, Inc., and PDF is a trademark of Adobe. DrawTape is not affiliated with or endorsed by them; the names only say which formats the tools handle.
